Every once in a while you come across a guitar, when you pick it up and strum it, your eyes open wide and mouth says "Whoa!".  That is exactly what happened to us when we first played the Vogel AME Acoustic Guitar.

Vogel Guitars are hand-made in Quito Ecuador.  The woods that are used are mostly from local sources and sound great.  The care that is taken to "tune" the instrument is a pains-taking process.  Before the top is installed (glued), the wood braces are chiseled and sculpted until the top resonates when the guitar is tapped.  Since all wood has slightly different grain, this is a way of insuring a good sound on each guitar.

These sound-clips were recorded "flat" in front of a Joe Meek JM47 condenser microphone.  We did not use any sound enhancements such as; EQ, effects (reverb, etc.), or compression.  We wanted you to hear how the guitar really sounds.  If it sounds this good "flat", just imagine what it will sound like with a little EQ!
